Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Elof Ekström made the kick off and thus started the match. When Supreme FC's Kurt Lindqvist in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mellbystrand IK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Supreme FC's goalkeeper Helge Lingren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Supreme FC's Bertil Tidéksson got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Nils Lindgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Supreme FC booed when Mellbystrand IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvin Lindström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mellbystrand IK's Nils Lindgren got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Kurt Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Skräddare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Mellbystrand IK defense, Kurt Lindqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Edvin Skräddare. The Mellbystrand IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Edvin Skräddare should have stopped the shot. When Supreme FC's Kurt Lindqvist in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mellbystrand IK's goalie prevented a goal. After 30 minutes of play Supreme FC's Michael Malmgren was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Supreme FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Michael Malmgren hit a great ball. Helge Lingren was a little too slow when Elof Ekström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Björn Sjö to make the kick off. Supreme FC's Bertil Tidéksson got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Elof Ekström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mellbystrand IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Supreme FC the free kick. In the 57th minute, Elof Ekström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Helge Lingren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elof Ekström went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute Björn Sjö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Skräddare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elof Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helge Lingren having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Supreme FC's Peter Wahlnäs got a free kick in the 86th minute. Helge Lingren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Lund in the 91st minute of play. Mellbystrand IK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Supreme FC for a fine match.
