When Torsten Olsman fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Swindon Sweden FF's protests and gave Torsten Olsman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Swindon Sweden FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Olsman to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 5 minutes, Rikard Pettersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KIA KAHA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rikard Pettersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute of the match, Mark Hermansson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pär Nyman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Swindon Sweden FF's Mark Hermansson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for KIA KAHA. In the 19th minute, Marc Kjellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Holger Ekberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KIA KAHA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Swindon Sweden FF the free kick. A collision led to KIA KAHA getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Holger Ekberg hit a great ball. After some careless play in the KIA KAHA defense, Mark Hermansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pär Nyman. The KIA KAHA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pär Nyman should have stopped the shot. After 33 played minutes Swindon Sweden FF got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Tinglöv. In the 35th match minute, KIA KAHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnny Henriksson to maneuver through the defense. When Hugo Salqvist fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KIA KAHA's protests and gave Hugo Salqvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Mark Hermansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lennart Linquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Kjellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ralf Blomqvist made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Jens-Åke Österlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pär Nyman was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. If Jens-Åke Österlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Benet during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lennart Linquist had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Rikard Pettersson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Lennart Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Dalgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Tobias Bergqvist fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Swindon Sweden FF's protests and gave Tobias Bergqvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Swindon Sweden FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Bergqvist to maneuver through the defense. Bo Dalgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Swindon Sweden FF's Mark Hermansson got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nils-Erik Boman hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Swindon Sweden FF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
