Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kennet Broberg started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Svante Sigman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wiktor Lingren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivar Berggren in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Bengt-Åke Dahlberg got a free kick in the 11th minute. Golden Lions FC were furious when Hans Alén was red carded, 13 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 14th match minute, Golden Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Alén to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Nusnäs IF's Ture Dalkvist got a free kick in the 16th minute. Svante Sigman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kristian Hellkvist. Nusnäs IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wiktor Lingren was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Ivar Berggren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ivar Berggren really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Wiktor Lingren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivar Berggren. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Lions FC's zone, Ivar Berggren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiktor Lingren came out of the goal and Ivar Berggren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Johan Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Nusnäs IF's Ivar Berggren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wiktor Lingren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kristian Hellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Sigman in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nusnäs IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Svante Sigman was slow to take the kick. During this time Golden Lions FC's players had a chance to rest. Golden Lions FC's Svante Sigman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kristian Hellkvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 36th minute, Alex Nordström made a precise shot to the right of Kristian Hellkvist. Nusnäs IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrik Löfgren to make the kick off. Kennet Broberg hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Patrik Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Lingren having to interfere. Bengt-Åke Dahlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Wiktor Lingren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Löfgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alex Nordström came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Golden Lions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Nordström couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd match minute, Golden Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Ahlgren to maneuver through the defense. Wiktor Lingren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Melin, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Nusnäs IF's Kristian Hellkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Nusnäs IF from getting a goal against them. Kristian Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Nordström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Nusnäs IF's Kristian Hellkvist got control of the ball when Alex Nordström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wiktor Lingren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Gustavsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Nusnäs IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
