Stig-Arne Ödman kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Christopher Dahlberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Mayonnaise's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal FC the free kick. A hard shot 18 in the game by Henrik Larsson from a close distance when the talented Östen Walroth managed to make a qualified save. AC Mayonnaise's players were relieved. Henrik Larssons short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Östen Walroth to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Henrik Larsson came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Arsenal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Larsson couldn't finish the play. Harald Mogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Lindberg in the 30th minute of play. Harald Mogren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Hellkvist in the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when AC Mayonnaise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell-Arne Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 played minutes Arsenal FC got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Larsson. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmund Runberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Arsenal FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Stig-Arne Ödman scored to the left of an out of position Harald Mogren, making the score, 1-1. Henrik Larsson struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Östen Walroth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal FC. Per-Åke Albäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Östen Walroth having to interfere. Edmund Runberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Harald Mogren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Erik Hellkvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Harald Mogren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice moves Erik Hellkvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Harald Mogren however easily saved by the left post. Harald Mogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Runberg in the 68th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Eddie Åberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Östen Walroth was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Harald Mogren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmund Runberg went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The Arsenal FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Arsenal FC's Henrik Larsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of AC Mayonnaise booed when Arsenal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Hök didn't get a good kick on the ball.
