Gustav Vollander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. NovaStella FK's Patrick Almkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Sjöberg in the 10th minute of play. Patrick Almkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Sjöberg in the 14th minute of play. Patrick Almkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hjalmar Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute, Boban Bobanović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, NovaStella FK's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Harman came free, but Patrick Almkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven Kilström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Gustav Vollander made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Frans Ahlrot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Segelbut IF U21 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hjalmar Ström was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Johan Sjöberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrick Almkvist. NovaStella FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johan Sjöberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 63 minutes into the match, Segelbut IF U21's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Kilström came free, but Gustav Vollander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes, Frans Ahlrot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Segelbut IF U21 and the NovaStella FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Frans Ahlrot kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Anton Bergren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustav Vollander was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Johan Sjöberg hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Gustav Vollander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Åke Hellström, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 84th match minute, Segelbut IF U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dag Harman to maneuver through the defense. NovaStella FK's Patrick Almkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save NovaStella FK from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, NovaStella FK's goalkeeper Patrick Almkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frans Ahlrot. Segelbut IF U21's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frans Ahlrot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
