Jens-Erik Aronsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Ekeberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the SoS FC defense, Ture Torsberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens-Erik Aronsson. The SoS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens-Erik Aronsson should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marc Åkerberg to make the kick off. Jens-Erik Aronsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Ekeberg in the 55th minute of play. André Karlsson hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ture Torsberg in the 61st minute of play forced SoS FC's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Aronsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Hammarbäck's late challenge caught a Kingpins's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herbert Hammarbäck helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kingpins booed when SoS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Hammarbäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 minutes, Sven Ahlin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kingpins and the SoS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Sven Ahlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens-Erik Aronsson was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Ralf Olsmann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ralf Olsmann really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. The SoS FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kingpins were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
