Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tor Njurenius kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Per-Erik Nyberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lillhärdal BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Erik Nyberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thor Grönberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inge Söderkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Lillhärdal BF got a freekick which was hit by Petter Lund. 12 minutes into the match, Lillhärdal BF's goalkeeper Sven-Erik Nyström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tor Njurenius. In the 14th minute Per-Erik Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Grönberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herman Hermansson struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sven-Erik Nyström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vänge IF. When Herman Hermansson came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Vänge IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herman Hermansson couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the game, Tor Njurenius recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Erik Nyström. Tor Njurenius showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 31 minutes into the game, Lillhärdal BF's Per-Erik Nyberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thor Grönberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of Vänge IF booed when Lillhärdal BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Åke Holmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hannes Barck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inge Söderkvist's late challenge caught a Vänge IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inge Söderkvist helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Lillhärdal BF got a freekick which was hit by Inge Söderkvist. In the 48th match minute, Vänge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tor Njurenius to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony Ödman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Lillhärdal BF's Egon Olsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thor Grönberg. Thor Grönberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. If Per-Erik Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Vänge IF getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Timmy Clementsson hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Vänge IF defense, Tony Ödman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thor Grönberg. The Vänge IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thor Grönberg should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute, Hannes Barck made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Erik Nyström. Lillhärdal BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. When Roger Lönn fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vänge IF's protests and gave Roger Lönn a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vänge IF getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Roger Lönn hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Lillhärdal BF's Tony Ödman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thor Grönberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Per-Erik Nyberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thor Grönberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lillhärdal BF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
