In the 18th minute Adrian Nordmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Bergdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Åström's late challenge caught a Oldham Athletic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Åström helped the player get up and apologised. Simon Albäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agne Stor, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Oldham Athletic's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 45 minutes into the match, Oldham Athletic's Agne Stor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Albäck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Simon Albäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agne Stor, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Agne Stor scored 2-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simon Albäck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Nordmark was the one to do the kick off. Karl-Erik Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Albäck having to interfere. Ingvar Bollström hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Erik Fransson in the 80th minute of play forced Käka Puck BK's goalkeeper Simon Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Bäcklin struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Simon Albäck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oldham Athletic. 87 minutes into the match, Karl-Erik Fransson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Albäck. Käka Puck BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Erik Fransson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. A hard shot 91 in the game by Adrian Nordmark from a close distance when the talented Sonny Bergdal managed to make a qualified save. Oldham Athletic's players were relieved. Oscar Bäcklin charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Bäcklin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Käka Puck BK booed when Oldham Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Bäcklin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kent Valler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Sonny Bergdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sonny Bergdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Nordmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Per-Erik Rydberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Simon Albäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Oldham Athletic fans cheered their team off the field, for while Käka Puck BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
