Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Olov Tham made the kick off and thus started the match. After 2 minutes, Per Strömqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baxters Boys and the Glentown FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Baxters Boys's Per Strömqvist got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Erling Kling scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Moberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Glentown FC booed when Baxters Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Olsman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Edmund Olsman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan Moberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glenn Magnusson in the 24th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Baxters Boys got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Bark. Jan Moberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Axelsson in the 32nd minute. Eric Axelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jan Moberg made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Ove Wickander during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, Sven-Ove Wickander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan Moberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glenn Magnusson in the 35th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eric Axelsson to make the kick off. With a little luck, Glentown FC's Tommy Kvist got control of the ball when Olov Tham tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Erling Kling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glentown FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erling Kling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 68 in the game by Olov Tham from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kvist managed to make a qualified save. Glentown FC's players were relieved. The supporters of Baxters Boys booed when Glentown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Söderberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baxters Boys made a substitution. Alexander Klint replaced Johan Dalström. Olov Tham blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kvist having to make a save. Andreas Hedberg took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Moberg. Jan Moberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Edmund Olsman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Edmund Olsman slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Olsman came free, but Tommy Kvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Andreas Hedberg fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glentown FC's protests and gave Andreas Hedberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Glentown FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Andreas Hedberg hit a great ball. August Palm took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kvist. Glentown FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Baxters Boys's August Palm shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tommy Kvist but with some difficulty. In the 94th minute, Gösta Beckström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Glentown FC had won after a very even match.
