After 2 played minutes Wyoming Cowboys got a freekick which was hit by Anton Finnman. After 7 minutes of play, Wyoming Cowboys's Thomas Åhlberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Georg Giliusson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrik Johansson in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustaf Olofsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the game, Leo Pihlwall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Georg Giliusson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Ingvall in the 17th minute of play forced Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper Georg Giliusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leo Pihlwall, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 18 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Georg Giliusson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Karl-Axel Linberg hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Georg Giliusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Pihlwall in the 23rd minute of play. Rikard Sjögren's late challenge caught a Wyoming Cowboys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rikard Sjögren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Rikard Sjögren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Georg Giliusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Pihlwall, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 37 minutes into the game, Thomas Åhlberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Georg Giliusson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patrik Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. The tension between the Quetzal Flyers Hammers and the Wyoming Cowboys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wiktor Ingvall didn't quite understand what happened when in the 44 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 65th minute Patrik Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Olofsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper Georg Giliusson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Åhlberg. In the 69th minute Patrik Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Olofsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Pihlwall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Patrik Johansson came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Quetzal Flyers Hammers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Johansson couldn't finish the play. Åke Asserlindh kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When the match was over Wyoming Cowboys could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Quetzal Flyers Hammers throughout the match.
