Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Team in construction's Silviu Gherdan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ciprian Cârju showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Gherase in the 3rd minute of the match. But to his dismay, Silviu Gherdan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Silviu Gherdan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 15 minutes had been played. In the 17th minute Nistor Cantemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Cârju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calistrat Baicea took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciprian Cârju. Ciprian Cârju dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Avram Dănășel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's supporters rose to their feet, but Avram Dănășel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciprian Cârju breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Team in construction defense, Calistrat Baicea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciprian Cârju. The Team in construction fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciprian Cârju should have stopped the shot. After the first half Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Calistrat Baicea to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Maxim Udrea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Team in construction and the Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely players grew even worse after the yellow card.
