Team in construction's Ciprian Cârju played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihăiţă Gheție in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dark Prophets's Mihăiţă Gheție got a free kick in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silviu Gherdan in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dumitru Tolea saved Dark Prophets from getting behind. Silviu Gherdan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Dumitru Tolea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicodim Hurgoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silviu Gherdan in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dumitru Tolea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicodim Hurgoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dumitru Tolea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Dumitru Tolea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silviu Gherdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Team in construction's Nicodim Hurgoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dumitru Tolea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dinu Lupoaia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Dumitru Tolea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nicodim Hurgoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Fabian Musceleanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Team in construction's Silviu Gherdan got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silviu Gherdan made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Dark Prophets got a freekick which was hit by Mihăiţă Gheție. Dumitru Tolea was a little too slow when Silviu Gherdan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-1. After 56 minutes, Silviu Gherdan made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Dark Prophets's Dumitru Tolea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute Mihăiţă Gheție shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Cârju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 68th minute of the game was made by Dan Geolgău with Nicodim Hurgoi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 75 minutes into the game, Nicodim Hurgoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Team in construction's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dark Prophets the free kick. Nicodim Hurgoi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ciprian Cârju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihăiţă Gheție, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dark Prophets's Sorin Potra suffered a sore thigh after 82 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Dark Prophets booed when Team in construction was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silviu Gherdan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinu Lupoaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Tolea having to interfere. The Team in construction players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
