After having played for 8 minutes, Basarab Nicolae managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CF REALCipri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basarab Nicolae was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pompiliu Sabău didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aristide Crivac went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Pantiș had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pompiliu Sabău. CF REALCipri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olimpiu Pantiș was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. CF REALCipri's Basarab Nicolae was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 17th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 24 minutes into the match, CF REALCipri's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Cudalb came free, but Pompiliu Sabău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Basarab Nicolae who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but bullfinches's Nistor Sfetcu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Iosif Lăzăroiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nistor Sfetcu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the match, CF REALCipri's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Luca came free, but Pompiliu Sabău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 minutes of play, bullfinches's Olimpiu Pantiș made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pompiliu Sabău was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basarab Nicolae made a kick off. After 53 played minutes CF REALCipri got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Alexandru. Aristide Crivac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Pompiliu Sabău made a huge save. The supporters of CF REALCipri booed when bullfinches was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Cudalb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iacob Stroici's late challenge caught a CF REALCipri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iacob Stroici helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CF REALCipri getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Adam Gârdan hit a great ball. Basarab Nicolae kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Basarab Nicolae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Sfetcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavril Scutaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The CF REALCipri fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when CF REALCipri's Basarab Nicolae looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. CF REALCipri's Pompiliu Sabău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Cudalb in the 71st minute of play. Ferdinand Luca took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pompiliu Sabău. Pompiliu Sabău dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. Basarab Nicolae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, CF REALCipri's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Crivac came free, but Pompiliu Sabău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pompiliu Sabău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Crivac, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Basarab Nicolae had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nistor Sfetcu. bullfinches's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basarab Nicolae was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-7.
