The referee ignored Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's protests and gave Avram Panaiteanu a yellow card for diving instead. When Mihnea Necșulescu came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the FC Urzicuța fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihnea Necșulescu couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the game, Nechifor Goma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Urzicuța the free kick. 9 minutes into the game, one of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ivan Gheordunescu hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. FC Urzicuța's Mihnea Necșulescu came free and shot a quick shot against goal 15 minutes in the game, fortunately Ion Chificeac had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Mihnea Necșulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boro Doro to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Mihnea Necșulescu made a precise shot to the right of Ion Chificeac. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Leonard Fința made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Panciu in the 33rd minute of play. After 45 played minutes FC Urzicuța got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Gheordunescu. The wind increased when Sabin Panciu made the kick off in the second half. Ion Chificeac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Necșulescu in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of FC Urzicuța booed when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Enciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ion Chificeac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihnea Necșulescu in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihnea Necșulescu in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ion Chificeac saved Batalionul U23 Dorobanti from getting behind. In the 62nd match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boro Doro to maneuver through the defense. Nik Nicola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ion Chificeac having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Nik Nicola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Urzicuța's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nik Nicola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sabin Panciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Fința having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silviu Medrea during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes FC Urzicuța got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Medrea. 78 minutes into the game, Nechifor Cosoroabă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Urzicuța the free kick. After a rather tough play, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Nechifor Cosoroabă got a free kick in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Nik Nicola came free, but Ion Chificeac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
