RED BLUE STAR's Pompiliu Comarnescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save RED BLUE STAR from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, Dorin Romeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Satyricon Black's zone, Vintilă Ilie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Iovulescu came out of the goal and Vintilă Ilie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicodim Stancu's late challenge caught a Satyricon Black's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicodim Stancu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Satyricon Black booed when RED BLUE STAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Stancu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandu Ecobescu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pompiliu Comarnescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Niculae Perșa made the kick off in the second half. Pompiliu Comarnescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Chiru in the 52nd minute of the match. Vintilă Ilie was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Satyricon Black's Cornel Chiru in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pompiliu Comarnescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornel Chiru went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 81st match minute, RED BLUE STAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Pociu to maneuver through the defense. Pompiliu Comarnescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornel Chiru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Pompiliu Comarnescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. RED BLUE STAR's Nicodim Stancu got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Nicodim Stancu off the ground. Nicodim Stancu kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Povară came free, but Pompiliu Comarnescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Satyricon Black's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
