Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Nichifor Dumitrescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 minutes of play, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Nichifor Dumitrescu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gelu Galușcă was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the DINAMO PLOIESTI defense, Nichifor Dumitrescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gelu Galușcă. The DINAMO PLOIESTI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gelu Galușcă should have stopped the shot. Dragoş Cumpanașu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Marin Brânzaș was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gelu Galușcă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Dumitrescu in the 21st minute of the match. Dragoş Cumpanașu charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dragoş Cumpanașu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Dragoş Cumpanașu got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Ion Chificeac, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nichifor Dumitrescu kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, DINAMO PLOIESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavril Donici to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Nichifor Dumitrescu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of DINAMO PLOIESTI's Gelu Galușcă. Gelu Galușcă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Remus Bojin got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gelu Galușcă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Chiriță in the 38th minute of play. After 44 played minutes DINAMO PLOIESTI got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Druță. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boro Doro in the 47th minute of play forced DINAMO PLOIESTI's goalkeeper Gelu Galușcă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Batalionul U23 Dorobanti were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavril Prelipceanu made a kick off. A collision led to Batalionul U23 Dorobanti getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Boro Doro hit a great ball. A collision led to DINAMO PLOIESTI getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Costin Frumușanu hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Codruț Druță ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ion Chificeac was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boro Doro got free with Gelu Galușcă in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Enciu to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Gavril Prelipceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. DINAMO PLOIESTI's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavril Prelipceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ion Chificeac breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute Calistrat Pană shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ion Chificeac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remus Bojin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Gelu Galușcă made a huge save. Irinel Chiriță blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gelu Galușcă having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boro Doro got free with Gelu Galușcă in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remus Bojin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Gelu Galușcă made a huge save. A collision led to DINAMO PLOIESTI getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Codruț Druță hit a great ball. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
