Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) After a rather tough play, A4p FC Gad's Robert Vlăsiu got a free kick in the 7th minute. The supporters of A4p FC Gad booed when FC Ruscova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Rada didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Marcel Penaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niculae Andronescu was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Andrei Victor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Gigi Dăscălescu made a huge save. In the 16th minute, Octav Lăzăroiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A4p FC Gad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Niculae Andronescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Crainic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Petru Isopescu came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the A4p FC Gad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petru Isopescu couldn't finish the play. After 36 played minutes FC Ruscova got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Bărcăuan. After recieving a nice pass, A4p FC Gad's Horaţiu Arsenescu tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Niculae Andronescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Penaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half A4p FC Gad were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Anton Țepeneag might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gigi Dăscălescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anton Țepeneag ran back to his position shaking his head. Aurelian Bărcăuan was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, one of FC Ruscova:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Ruscova. Niculae Andronescu made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Marcel Penaru sent off a good shot on target. A4p FC Gad's Doru Abraham was substituted for Marcel Penaru. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Iurie Sima replaced Petru Isopescu. In the 64th match minute, FC Ruscova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Brânzaș to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's Octav Lăzăroiu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Crainic in the 70th minute of play forced FC Ruscova's goalkeeper Niculae Andronescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remus Chițes came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Niculae Andronescu could save by the left post. Niculae Andronescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doru Abraham in the 80th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, FC Ruscova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Neagoe to maneuver through the defense. After 94 played minutes A4p FC Gad got a freekick which was hit by Ion Bianu. A4p FC Gad's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
