Toader Cojan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlad Belu having to interfere. The supporters of ⚽RAE⚽ booed when English Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Bologa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Boia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Vlad Belu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Andriescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucian Bologa in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Gigel Paveliuc recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vlad Belu. Gigel Paveliuc showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Toader Cojan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Vlad Belu was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Toader Cojan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Toader Cojan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The corner ended in Horaţiu Bălan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but English Fire's Vlad Belu did a great save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toader Cojan to make the kick off. Vlad Belu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Paveliuc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute, Iacob Nedelcea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ⚽RAE⚽ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 61st minute, Ionică Iriza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The English Fire fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When Costică Puișoru fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored English Fire's protests and gave Costică Puișoru a yellow card for diving instead. Costică Puișoru kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Iacob Nedelcea came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the ⚽RAE⚽ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iacob Nedelcea couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toader Cojan in the 83rd minute of play forced English Fire's goalkeeper Vlad Belu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Andriescu made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Lucian Bologa sent off a good shot on target. Victor Andriescu came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by English Fire's Iustinian Pădure. But to his dismay, Iustinian Pădure quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After a rather tough play, ⚽RAE⚽'s Victor Boia got a free kick in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that ⚽RAE⚽ were the better team. ⚽RAE⚽'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
