After a rather tough play, FC Buzău's Luca Inculeț got a free kick in the 4th minute. FC Buzău's Gheorghe Vărzaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mădălin Bănățeanu in the 5th minute of play. Nae Morar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sorin Zâncă in the 7th minute of the match. In the 12th play minute Luca Inculeț came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nae Morar. 1-0. Gheorghe Vărzaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cătălin Octavian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, FC Buzău's Tudor Bosânceanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nae Morar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Tudor Bosânceanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Nae Morar made a huge save. 29 minutes into the game, Mădălin Bănățeanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gheorghe Vărzaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute of the match, Luca Inculeț tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nae Morar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mădălin Bănățeanu hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Inculeț got free with Nae Morar in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luca Inculeț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Nae Morar made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucian Gâțea during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lucian Gâțea kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Sorin Zâncă, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
