Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Scorpions -MM-'s Iurie Cocoș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Acalinei in the 4th minute of play. If Fabian Verzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12th play minutes Aurelian Acalinei shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Iurie Cocoș and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Nedelcea in the 15th minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Iurie Cocoș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes -BZF- Fc Gheraseni got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Ghimiș. In the 22nd minute of the match Alexandru Stelian shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iurie Cocoș showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Alexandru Stelian came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the -BZF- Fc Gheraseni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandru Stelian couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Virgil Nedelcea came free, but Iurie Cocoș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Ferdinand Chirculescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scorpions -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Aurelian Acalinei in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scorpions -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 40th match minute, Scorpions -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Stoleru to maneuver through the defense. Alexandru Stelian hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The supporters of Scorpions -MM- booed when -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Urseanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Octav Hortopan got control of the ball when Emil Bărnuțiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valentin Şteţ kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Octav Hortopan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Năstase, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 55 played minutes -BZF- Fc Gheraseni got a freekick which was hit by Filip Urseanu. In the 56th minute of the match Emil Bărnuțiu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octav Hortopan skillfully saved the ball. Ferdinand Chirculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Virgil Nedelcea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Bărnuțiu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Dan Năstase kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Grigore Purje hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Verzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Cocoș having to interfere. Fabian Verzea might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iurie Cocoș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Verzea ran back to his position shaking his head. Scorpions -MM-'s Iurie Cocoș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Scorpions -MM- from getting a goal against them. Alexandru Stelian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Scorpions -MM-'s Iurie Cocoș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Scorpions -MM- from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute, Fabian Verzea fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Iurie Cocoș, passed just outside the right post. 93 minutes into the game, Virgil Nedelcea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scorpions -MM- the free kick. Virgil Nedelcea kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the -BZF- Fc Gheraseni players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
