An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Chihaia in the 6th minute of play forced The Huns's goalkeeper Manuel Ignătescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes C Ａ R D I N Ａ L got a freekick which was hit by Gigel Nichita. The supporters of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L booed when The Huns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Moromete didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Drăgoescu during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emanuel Drăgoescu hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Manuel Ignătescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Donecea, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sorin Chihaia made a kick off. Manuel Ignătescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Nichita, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. A collision led to C Ａ R D I N Ａ L getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Iulian Ghionea hit a great ball. In the 54th minute Robert Bot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Gurlui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Traian Stoicescu struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Edgar Gurlui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Huns. If Marcel Moromete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidiu Moțoc's late challenge caught a The Huns's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidiu Moțoc helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Nicolae Niculcea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Bot hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Sandu Onciu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 91st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Manuel Ignătescu but with some difficulty. A hard shot by Claudiu Gioagă from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got Manuel Ignătescu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Traian Stoicescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Gurlui having to interfere.
