Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Narcis Ruşdea kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Edgar Gurlui got control of the ball when Narcis Ruşdea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgar Ciocârlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remus Ticulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the C Ａ R D I N Ａ L defense, Alexandru Brânzaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Gurlui. The C Ａ R D I N Ａ L fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Gurlui should have stopped the shot. With 18 minutes on the clock, Ilie Hâjdău commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Damian Bărbat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Gurlui having to interfere. After a rather tough play, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Valeriu Donecea got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 40th match minute, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Romaşcanu to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goalkeeper Edgar Gurlui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Bărbat. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remus Ticulescu was the one to do the kick off. Fabian Petre might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Gurlui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Petre ran back to his position shaking his head. After 59 played minutes ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Tarcea. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Aurelianu got free with Edgar Ciocârlan in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgar Gurlui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Brânzaru in the 65th minute of play. Iulian Ghionea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Ciocârlan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horaţiu Aurelianu in the 81st minute. Edgar Gurlui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Șerban Borăscu in the 85th minute of the match. In the 89th minute of the match, Adrian Romaşcanu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edgar Ciocârlan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
