In the 2nd minute, Mircea Robu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Paralia Athens's zone, Damian Bărbat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Nicolescu came out of the goal and Damian Bărbat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 5 minutes, Iulian Doinaș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paralia Athens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iulian Doinaș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute Șerban Borăscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Nicolescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Paralia Athens's zone, Narcis Ruşdea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Nicolescu came out of the goal and Narcis Ruşdea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goalkeeper Edgar Ciocârlan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petre Maghiran. Șerban Borăscu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Verzea. After having played for 22 minutes, Gelu Verzea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paralia Athens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gelu Verzea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damian Bărbat struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Cristian Nicolescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★POLI★™★VIOLA★. With a little luck, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Edgar Ciocârlan got control of the ball when Petre Maghiran tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Șerban Borăscu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Petre Maghiran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Edgar Ciocârlan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Iulian Doinaș 38 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. With a little luck, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Edgar Ciocârlan got control of the ball when Petre Maghiran tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iulian Doinaș to make the kick off. Edgar Ciocârlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petre Maghiran in the 52nd minute of the match. Iulian Doinaș charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iulian Doinaș the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Damian Bărbat rounded Paralia Athens's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Cristian Nicolescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narcis Ruşdea in the 60th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandru Brânzaru in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Nicolescu saved Paralia Athens from getting behind. In the 68th minute Petre Maghiran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Ciocârlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Verzea. Iulian Doinaș got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Iulian Doinaș got a free kick in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Cristian Nicolescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Bărbat. After 84 minutes, Leontin Apostu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paralia Athens and the ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ players grew even worse after the yellow card.
