When Dumitru Bogătean fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's protests and gave Dumitru Bogătean a yellow card for diving instead.

Pavel Tăutu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Horia Ostoici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s Aurel Ologu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ioan Papadima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The GoooooooooooooooooooooooL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ioan Papadima should have stopped the shot. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Ioan Papadima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Zbanţ in the 68th minute of play. Horia Ostoici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Tăutu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
