Horaţiu Nițoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Zogreanu in the 6th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Zogreanu came free, but Horaţiu Nițoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelian Zogreanu in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horaţiu Nițoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panait Vochin got free with Aron Neculce in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Horaţiu Nițoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Zogreanu in the 10th minute of play. Juninho Junior spun around in front of the goal 14 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goal. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Horaţiu Nițoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iván Zamorano in the 16th minute of play. After 19 played minutes -BZF- Barca de Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Pătrașcu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iván Zamorano in the 23rd minute of play forced -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalkeeper Horaţiu Nițoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sebastian Purje had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Aurelian Zogreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Nițoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelian Zogreanu hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When Aurelian Zogreanu fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ninjas in Pyjamas's protests and gave Aurelian Zogreanu a yellow card for diving instead. -BZF- Barca de Buzau made a substitution. Ivan Crăciunaș replaced Emanuel Hristea. A collision led to Ninjas in Pyjamas getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Aurelian Zogreanu hit a great ball. Sebastian Purje kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Petre Izbașa got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Sebastian Purje charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Purje the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Purje to maneuver through the defense. Liviu Răuţă scored 1-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aron Neculce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelian Zogreanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ninjas in Pyjamas getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Pavel Teaşcă hit a great ball. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Basarab Achimescu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ninjas in Pyjamas. Aron Neculce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Purje, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Horaţiu Nițoi made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Florin Griguță sent off a good shot on target. Panait Vochin kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Horea Zâncă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Ionuț Măcriș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of -BZF- Barca de Buzau booed when Ninjas in Pyjamas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionuț Măcriș didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Basarab Achimescu tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute of the match, Aurelian Zogreanu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Horaţiu Nițoi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 80 minutes into the game, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Aurelian Zogreanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horaţiu Nițoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Panait Vochin charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 95 played minutes, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Sol Campbell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Horaţiu Nițoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ninjas in Pyjamas reached it. After 96 played minutes -BZF- Barca de Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Felix Vorniceanu. Florin Griguță blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horaţiu Nițoi having to make a save. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
