Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dacian Fetea took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Dacian Fetea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ike Schmeichel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ike Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristinel Gheorghiță in the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Mihnea Martinaș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cătălin Jdeica came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. YKE's Sorin Vermeşan. But to his dismay, Sorin Vermeşan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 16 minutes into the game, Emanuel Greblă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ike Schmeichel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to F.C. YKE getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Nicolae Boboc hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Dacian Fetea put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ike Schmeichel. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolae Boboc during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Nicolae Boboc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ike Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihnea Martinaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute of the match BlueLionesse got a corner. F.C. YKE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valeriu Iuzbașa ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dacian Fetea in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ike Schmeichel saved F.C. YKE from getting behind. F.C. YKE's Ike Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dacian Fetea in the 33rd minute of play. Ike Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Fetea in the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of F.C. YKE booed when BlueLionesse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Gheorghiță didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 minutes of play, BlueLionesse's Dacian Fetea made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ike Schmeichel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute, Dacian Fetea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BlueLionesse fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Fetea in the 44th minute of play forced F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Ike Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the F.C. YKE defense, Dacian Fetea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ike Schmeichel. The F.C. YKE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ike Schmeichel should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sorin Vermeşan made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, F.C. YKE's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Fetea came free, but Ike Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Culiță in the 64th minute of play forced BlueLionesse's goalkeeper Cătălin Jdeica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Sorin Vermeşan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cătălin Jdeica was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C. YKE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valeriu Iuzbașa was slow to take the kick. During this time BlueLionesse's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of F.C. YKE booed when BlueLionesse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Greblă didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dacian Fetea in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ike Schmeichel saved F.C. YKE from getting behind. In the 78th minute, BlueLionesse's Dacian Fetea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-8. F.C. YKE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Emanuel Greblă scored to the left of an out of position Ike Schmeichel, making the score, 2-9. Dacian Fetea might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ike Schmeichel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dacian Fetea ran back to his position shaking his head. The BlueLionesse supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BlueLionesse would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
