Sosnowiec:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C. Sosnowiec. The referee gave Markowy Team a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Klement Lipinski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of F.C. Sosnowiec's Zbyszko Andrzejewski. 0-1. After the first half Markowy Team were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some careless play in the F.C. Sosnowiec defense, Waclaw Imbor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbyszko Andrzejewski. The F.C. Sosnowiec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbyszko Andrzejewski should have stopped the shot. When Fabian Resel came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the F.C. Sosnowiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Resel couldn't finish the play. Witalis Wojtowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Resel, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute.
