Karol Kaczeniak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmund Misiorowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, FC Latające Siekiery's goalkeeper Ryszard Grondzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tolek Terasek. With a little luck, FC Latające Siekiery's Ryszard Grondzki got control of the ball when Tolek Terasek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute, Teobald Snaza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Tolek Terasek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Grondzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Wel Lidzbark's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Mierzejewski came free, but Edmund Misiorowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, FC Latające Siekiery's Sebastian Mierzejewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmund Misiorowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karol Kaczeniak in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmund Misiorowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Latające Siekiery's Ryszard Grondzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pankracy Raschke in the 24th minute of play. FC Latające Siekiery's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tolek Terasek 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Sebastian Mierzejewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Karol Kaczeniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Misiorowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Latające Siekiery were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Wel Lidzbark's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fryderyk Siembab took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Kaczeniak in the 41st minute of play forced Wel Lidzbark's goalkeeper Edmund Misiorowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tolek Terasek made a kick off. After some careless play in the FC Latające Siekiery defense, Tolek Terasek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ryszard Grondzki. The FC Latające Siekiery fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ryszard Grondzki should have stopped the shot. In the 56th minute Tolek Terasek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Grondzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Wel Lidzbark booed when FC Latające Siekiery was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fryderyk Siembab didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Wel Lidzbark getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Teobald Snaza hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Zbyszek Wyrostek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Wincenty Dziuma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ryszard Grondzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolek Terasek in the 92nd minute of the match. Wel Lidzbark walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
