The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Łukasz Piszczek in the 13th minute of play forced Ajax Poland's goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliks Chazon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boleslaw Falke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ajax Poland fully deserved thier win.
