The tension between the FC Alkomaty and the Leeds Kraków F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee ignored Leeds Kraków F.C.'s protests and gave Juliusz Mnich a yellow card for diving instead. 17 minutes into the game, Maksymilian Dombrowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Emil Kaznocha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stanislaw Bucyki's late challenge caught a Leeds Kraków F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stanislaw Bucyki helped the player get up and apologised.
