The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, FC Gdansk36 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radoslaw Czeszyk to maneuver through the defense. FC Gdansk36's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piast Leszczyny the free kick. Piast Leszczyny made a substitution. Jedrzej Jaszcz replaced Klement Karanowski. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piast Leszczyny reached it. Zula Gejda's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edward Galagan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gwidon Gejda took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Witold Matela. The tension between the FC Gdansk36 and the Piast Leszczyny players grew even worse after the yellow card. 0-4 became the score in the 38th minute when Radoslaw Pawlak elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 41 minutes of play, Piast Leszczyny's Gwidon Gejda made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Witold Matela was left in no man's land by his defense there! The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radoslaw Czeszyk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Piast Leszczyny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konrad Niziolek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 minutes of play, Piast Leszczyny's Radoslaw Pawlak made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Witold Matela was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Gdansk36's Witold Matela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Gdansk36 from getting a goal against them. Witold Matela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radoslaw Pawlak in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Radoslaw Pawlak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witold Matela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Cichowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Witold Matela having to make a save.
