The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Teobald Ochabski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Witold Matela, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kryspin Golembiewski in the 8th minute of play forced Nieciece's goalkeeper Teofil Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iwan Ciechocki's late challenge caught a FC Gdansk36's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iwan Ciechocki helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Gdansk36 booed when Nieciece was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwan Ciechocki didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, FC Gdansk36's Ignacy Tyszka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teofil Gruchacz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Mariusz Dabrowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Witold Matela, 2-0. Jakub Mietus struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Witold Matela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nieciece. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Witold Matela successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC Gdansk36's Witold Matela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save FC Gdansk36 from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute, one of Nieciece:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nieciece. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for FC Gdansk36. Gilbert Cwenar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Teofil Gruchacz. 2-1. Piotr Major was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Nieciece:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Gdansk36:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobald Ochabski in the 41st minute of play forced FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Witold Matela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witold Matela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariusz Dabrowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radomir Poniewaz during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mariusz Dabrowski made the kick off in the second half. FC Gdansk36's Witold Matela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobald Ochabski in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Nieciece were awarded a corner. Szczepan Pincoski went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 71st match minute, Nieciece was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ksawery Jaraczeski to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Gdansk36's Radomir Poniewaz got a free kick in the 74th minute. Szczepan Pincoski charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Szczepan Pincoski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, FC Gdansk36 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radowit Laba to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Mariusz Dabrowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Witold Matela was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Witold Matela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakub Mietus in the 88th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maciej Zawada got free with Teofil Gruchacz in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
