Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Peder Hamre took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester City's goalkeeper Jim Sutton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Beckham in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gard Nordheim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8 minutes into the game, Manchester City's Nicholas Kellaway nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gard Nordheim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gard Nordheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Beckham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kiken IF's Gard Nordheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Maston in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Kiken IF's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Johnstone came free, but Gard Nordheim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gard Nordheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Beckham in the 28th minute of play. Gard Nordheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre Maston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute of the match Manchester City got a corner. Kiken IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ronnie Prince ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Manchester City's Henry Beckham getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Gard Nordheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddie Doughty in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Pierre Maston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gard Nordheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, Manchester City's Eddie Doughty made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gard Nordheim was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the match, Kiken IF's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Doughty came free, but Gard Nordheim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Frank Johnstone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Frank Johnstone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gard Nordheim was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Doughty in the 45th minute of play forced Kiken IF's goalkeeper Gard Nordheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Kiken IF's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Maston came free, but Gard Nordheim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Kiken IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Manchester City were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Pierre Maston made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Kiken IF's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Maston came free, but Gard Nordheim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Manchester City's Henry Beckham slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gard Nordheim. That made the score 0-3 after 55 minutes of play. Jim Sutton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julius Bakker's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Kiken IF getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jonathan Knutsen hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Ronnie Prince shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gard Nordheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kiken IF's Gard Nordheim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Kiken IF from getting a goal against them. Kiken IF's Gard Nordheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Beckham in the 72nd minute of play. Ronnie Prince charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronnie Prince the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, Manchester City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronnie Prince to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Maston in the 80th minute of play forced Kiken IF's goalkeeper Gard Nordheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Kiken IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thor Grannes to maneuver through the defense. If Eddie Doughty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gard Nordheim came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester City's Eddie Doughty. But to his dismay, Eddie Doughty quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Johnstone got free with Gard Nordheim in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Johnstone in the 94th minute of play forced Kiken IF's goalkeeper Gard Nordheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gard Nordheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Beckham in the 95th minute of the match. Julius Bakker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Sutton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The Kiken IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Manchester City were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
