Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Pierre Maston started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Manchester City booed when Liaböen IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrik Aanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eilert Henden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Maston in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Beckham in the 21st minute of play forced Liaböen IF's goalkeeper Eilert Henden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Pierre Maston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eilert Henden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eilert Henden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marek Stonehouse went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Eilert Henden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eddie Doughty in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Manchester City's Henry Beckham ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eilert Henden. Eilert Henden yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kenneth Nesvik was the one to do the kick off. Eilert Henden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Maston in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Manchester City's Pierre Swinscoe got a free kick in the 56th minute. Jim Sutton came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Liaböen IF's Ivar Krasniqi. But to his dismay, Ivar Krasniqi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 62 minutes into the match, Liaböen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Johnstone came free, but Eilert Henden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eilert Henden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Beckham, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Liaböen IF's Eilert Henden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Beckham in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute Frank Johnstone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eilert Henden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eilert Henden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 96 minutes into the game, Manchester City's Pierre Maston nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eilert Henden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Manchester City had played much better football throughout.
