Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thomas Lauridsen took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 9 minutes, John Darby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C North and the AB Tårnby players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AB Tårnby booed when F.C North was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Sharpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Lauridsen in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matty Higginson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the F.C North defense, Thomas Lauridsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matty Higginson. The F.C North fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matty Higginson should have stopped the shot. Matty Higginson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Lauridsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Matty Higginson came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by AB Tårnby's Thomas Lauridsen. But to his dismay, Thomas Lauridsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Martyn Ginn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Al Birkestrøm was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Al Birkestrøm was a little too slow when Martyn Ginn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-2. After 40 played minutes AB Tårnby got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Ledberg. F.C North's Jim Wellings couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AB Tårnby. Thomas Lauridsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matty Higginson having to make a save. After 48 minutes, Clas Gothardt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AB Tårnby and the F.C North players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clas Gothardt kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. After the first half AB Tårnby were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barney Greenwood stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, Barney Greenwood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C North's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barney Greenwood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matty Higginson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Lauridsen went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 64th match minute, F.C North was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Darby to maneuver through the defense. After 70 minutes, Quentin Garner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C North and the AB Tårnby players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Quentin Garner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the game, Thomas Lauridsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AB Tårnby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C North the free kick. After 99 played minutes AB Tårnby got a freekick which was hit by Claes Arnsig. 101 minutes into the match, AB Tårnby's goal looked a bit too open when Barney Greenwood came free, but Al Birkestrøm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The F.C North manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing AB Tårnby to win.
