Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Freddy Blakewell got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Clapham Rovers's Sly Baker got a free kick in the 6th minute. Svenn Gurliph took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conan Worth. Conan Worth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Freddy Blakewell came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maurits Weinhardt could save by the left post. Maurits Weinhardt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinnie Bartlett, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Maurits Weinhardt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freddy Blakewell in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Pheonix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Harvey Eslworth came free, but Maurits Weinhardt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Pheonix FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Runar Hårdell to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glenn Osmond in the 24th minute of play forced Pheonix FC's goalkeeper Maurits Weinhardt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurits Weinhardt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Harvey Eslworth showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. Clapham Rovers's Freddy Blakewell came free and shot a quick shot against goal 34 minutes in the game, fortunately Maurits Weinhardt had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Pheonix FC's Maurits Weinhardt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Pheonix FC from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd match minute, Clapham Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sly Baker to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Pheonix FC's Steffen Dyrehøj got a free kick in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Blakewell in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurits Weinhardt saved Pheonix FC from getting behind. Pheonix FC's Maurits Weinhardt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marty Child in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Wagner Schaumburg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Nils Taffenberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conan Worth having to make a save. Maurits Weinhardt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn Osmond in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Steffen Dyrehøj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 played minutes Pheonix FC got a freekick which was hit by Runar Hårdell. After having played for 82 minutes, Nils Taffenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pheonix FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Taffenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute Glenn Osmond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurits Weinhardt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pheonix FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Runar Hårdell hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Clapham Rovers players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
