Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 0) Seljeli IF's Mikael Joakimsen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th play minute Mikael Joakimsen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alf Dove. 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Seljeli IF's goal looked a bit too open when Shane Cousens came free, but Bastian Lindquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Tynemouth Wanderers's goalkeeper Alf Dove had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikael Joakimsen. Alf Dove made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikael Joakimsen in the 17th minute. The supporters of Seljeli IF booed when Tynemouth Wanderers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conal Wicks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tynemouth Wanderers's Seth Pearch got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 26 minutes of play, Tynemouth Wanderers's Jim Kemp made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bastian Lindquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alf Dove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Klev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seljeli IF's Bastian Lindquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Kemp in the 32nd minute of play. Alf Dove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Joakimsen in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Shane Cousens made a precise shot to the right of Bastian Lindquist. Seljeli IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 40 minutes into the match, Seljeli IF's goal looked a bit too open when Seth Pearch came free, but Bastian Lindquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jim Kemp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Kemp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Lindquist having to interfere. The Seljeli IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tynemouth Wanderers were winning 1-2.

When Mikael Joakimsen came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Seljeli IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikael Joakimsen couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute Olav Heggen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Dove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alf Dove came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Seljeli IF's Olav Heggen. But to his dismay, Olav Heggen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Bastian Lindquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rich Bryant, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Blair Knight could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Bastian Lindquist made a huge save. Bastian Lindquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blair Knight went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Stig Klev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Dove having to interfere. In the 86th minute Olav Heggen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Dove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seljeli IF's Bastian Lindquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seth Pearch in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Blair Knight could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Bastian Lindquist however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seth Pearch in the 90th minute of play forced Seljeli IF's goalkeeper Bastian Lindquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bastian Lindquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rich Bryant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Tynemouth Wanderers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Seljeli IF.
