Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stian Bjørkmo got the match started through his kick off. Jan-Aage Nyvoll was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, Hvamsal BK's Steffen Larsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Steffen Møgster. In the 9th minute, Carl Jøssang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Kjetil Devold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Markus Polden fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hvamsal BK's protests and gave Markus Polden a yellow card for diving instead. Markus Polden hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjetil Devold during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Saga TF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjetil Devold to maneuver through the defense. Kjetil Devold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Christoffer Bjørk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morten Ludviksen in the 29th minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Steffen Møgster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carl Jøssang scored 1-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christoffer Bjørk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christoffer Bjørk came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Saga TF's Kjetil Devold. But to his dismay, Kjetil Devold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. A collision led to Hvamsal BK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Kenneth Forsberg hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Morten Ludviksen was the one to do the kick off. Tommy Westerlund's late challenge caught a Hvamsal BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Westerlund helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Saga TF! Hvamsal BK's Christoffer Bjørk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Hvamsal BK from getting a goal against them. Saga TF's Steffen Møgster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morten Ludviksen in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Saga TF's goalkeeper Steffen Møgster, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Morten Ludviksen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Kjetil Devold managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saga TF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjetil Devold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Bjørk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Saga TF defense, Jo Asheim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Steffen Møgster. The Saga TF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Steffen Møgster should have stopped the shot. When Erik Fosen came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Hvamsal BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Fosen couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute Morten Ludviksen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steffen Møgster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jo Asheim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Asheim in the 97th minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Steffen Møgster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
