To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the game, Kjartan Kroken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gædd FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus Telford the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Gædd FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjartan Kroken to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barney Garner was the one to do the kick off. Walter Blakewell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludvig Hilstad having to interfere.
