Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Lord of the Wings's Patrick Dean started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matthew McHugh kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Kieran McGaw kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lord of the Wings's Wal McKersey got a free kick in the 8th minute. Adam Dieler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alisdair Ferries having to interfere. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Patrick Dean sped through SSV Ulm 1846's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erich Pitten. Patrick Dean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erich Pitten having to interfere. Erich Pitten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronan Currie in the 16th minute of the match. Fjodor Odonkor hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Patrick Dean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erich Pitten having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Dean came free, but Erich Pitten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Dean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lord of the Wings's goalkeeper Alisdair Ferries, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erich Pitten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronan Currie in the 38th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Dean came free, but Erich Pitten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adam Dieler to strike the kick off in the second half. Fjodor Odonkor struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Alisdair Ferries didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SSV Ulm 1846. 53 minutes into the game, Luka Roth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SSV Ulm 1846's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lord of the Wings the free kick. The supporters of Lord of the Wings booed when SSV Ulm 1846 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luka Roth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erich Pitten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronan Currie in the 57th minute of play. Erich Pitten was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Ronan Currie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ronan Currie really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Ronan Currie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erich Pitten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Cedric Aigle's late challenge caught a Lord of the Wings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cedric Aigle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Cedric Aigle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Patrick Dean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lord of the Wings's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Dean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erich Pitten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrick Dean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Erich Pitten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erich Pitten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Dean in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Patrick Dean recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erich Pitten. Patrick Dean showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Wal McKersey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erich Pitten having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Lord of the Wings's Patrick Dean ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erich Pitten. Erich Pitten yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Dean in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erich Pitten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patrick Dean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd match minute, SSV Ulm 1846 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Strzelczyk to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Michael Ennis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erich Pitten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erich Pitten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Dean, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Lord of the Wings left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SSV Ulm 1846.
