Borussia Ostermoordorf's Christian Kaltz got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute of the match, Kurt-Jürgen Solz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but David Butt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Borussia Ostermoordorf booed when Oslo City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristian Nordnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Borussia Ostermoordorf's protests and gave Christian Kaltz a yellow card for diving instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to Oslo City FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Frode Vollen hit a great ball.
