With a little luck, FC Hugo's Ahto Ainsaar got control of the ball when Volli Elts tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rein Püss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kusti Olev, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Volli Eltmaa might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahto Ainsaar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Volli Eltmaa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th match minute, JULM C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Volli Elts to maneuver through the defense. When Volli Elts came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the JULM C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Volli Elts couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, JULM C.F.'s Eldur Ani got a free kick in the 88th minute. Kusti Hakk was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The long shot by Voldemar Veevo in the 96th minute really tested Rein Püss's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. JULM C.F.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
