After some careless play in the JULM C.F. defense, Thomas Power kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rein Püss. The JULM C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rein Püss should have stopped the shot. Brad Hudson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Hernes, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Eldur Ani hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The supporters of JULM C.F. booed when Carlisle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conal Denham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Elding made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by JULM C.F.'s Mehis Lipping. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Volli Elts in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brad Hudson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Hugh Tyson fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carlisle United's protests and gave Hugh Tyson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Carlisle United's Hugh Tyson got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Eldur Ani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brad Hudson skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Power got free with Rein Püss in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of JULM C.F. booed when Carlisle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conal Denham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brad Hudson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tõnis Aug in the 42nd minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Power to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Volli Elts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brad Hudson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Brad Hudson made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Volli Elts sent off a good shot on target. After 63 played minutes JULM C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Dan Hernes. Thomas Power scored 2-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rein Püss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, Jan Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brad Hudson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eldur Ani in the 95th minute of the match. Carlisle United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
