Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juhan Laik started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Viplala's Elar Arumäe got a free kick in the 11th minute. Jarmo Virkus in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ahto Ainsaar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Jarmo Virkus managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Viplala's Arto Nuga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juhan Laik in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of FC Hugo booed when FC Viplala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarmo Virkus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudolf Aas kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ahto Ainsaar made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Jarmo Virkus sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, FC Viplala's goal looked a bit too open when Juhan Laik came free, but Arto Nuga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 37 minutes on the clock, Kiur Vähe commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 37th minute, one of FC Viplala:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Viplala. Arto Nuga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juhan Laik, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jarmo Virkus to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jarmo Virkus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Viplala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 55th minute of the match Haarald Nemvalts shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahto Ainsaar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juhan Laik got free with Arto Nuga in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute Jarmo Virkus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahto Ainsaar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arto Nuga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmar Koppelmaa in the 69th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, FC Viplala's goalkeeper Arto Nuga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juhan Laik. Juhan Laik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Arto Nuga made a huge save. Andro Nurmela's late challenge caught a FC Hugo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
