Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Ampthill FC's Conal Knight-Percival started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, STARGARD FC's David Seaman threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfred Junitz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. STARGARD FC's Lance Haßke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garry Aspinall in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Conal Knight-Percival had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lance Haßke. STARGARD FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conal Knight-Percival was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conal Knight-Percival in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lance Haßke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ole Ruge managed to get in a good position for a shot. STARGARD FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ole Ruge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Seaman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the game, Roger Platt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ampthill FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave STARGARD FC the free kick. The supporters of STARGARD FC booed when Ampthill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Platt didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ampthill FC's Conal Knight-Percival in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye STARGARD FC's goalie prevented a goal. Lance Haßke came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Ampthill FC's Conal Knight-Percival. But to his dismay, Conal Knight-Percival quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Conal Knight-Percival put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Lance Haßke. After 43rd play minutes Conal Knight-Percival shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Lance Haßke and just under the crossbar into goal. If Dave Ferrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, STARGARD FC's Fred Inger got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Issey Reckmaier fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored STARGARD FC's protests and gave Issey Reckmaier a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Ampthill FC's Dave Ferrell tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ampthill FC's Dave Ferrell got a free kick in the 68th minute. Conal Knight-Percival did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Lance Haßke 70 minutes into the match. Lance Haßke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conal Knight-Percival in the 74th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conal Knight-Percival got free with Lance Haßke in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Garry Aspinall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lance Haßke having to make a save. If Alfred Junitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Seaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Reuter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfred Junitz hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Dave Ferrell from long distance, 85 minutes into the match, got Lance Haßke's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 89th minute, Dave Ferrell fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lance Haßke, passed just outside the right post. After 89 minutes, Conal Knight-Percival made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. STARGARD FC's Lance Haßke tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dave Ferrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Haßke having to interfere. The Ampthill FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
