After 4 minutes, Endel Tihumets made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. JK Shefid's Erik Väärtnõu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute Endel Tihumets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Väärtnõu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arto Vips's late challenge caught a FC Dundee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arto Vips helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, JK Shefid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arto Vips to maneuver through the defense. When FC Dundee's Endel Tihumets in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC Dundee's Endel Tihumets got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Mustikas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Endel Tihumetss short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Erik Väärtnõu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 69 minutes into the match, JK Shefid's goal looked a bit too open when Endel Tihumets came free, but Erik Väärtnõu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Endel Tihumets put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Erik Väärtnõu. After 97 minutes, Olaf Eesti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Dundee and the JK Shefid players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC Dundee's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
