Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joey Leighton started the match with the kick off. Lavrits Bjørnfalk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasey Gobey in the 3rd minute of play. Kasey Gobey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Lavrits Bjørnfalk made a huge save. After 11 minutes of play, Club Atlético de Newell's Ben Powell made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lavrits Bjørnfalk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Atlético de Newell's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kasey Gobey in the 15th minute. Club Atlético de Newell's Kasey Gobey was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lavrits Bjørnfalk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Joey Leighton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lavrits Bjørnfalk having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Club Atlético de Newell's Lavrits Bjørnfalk threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joey Leighton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Ben Powell came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Club Atlético de Newell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ben Powell couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, ATOWN's Eilif Hofsø got a free kick in the 30th minute. Joey Leighton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lavrits Bjørnfalk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fritz Ogrocki hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Philip Bakewell charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philip Bakewell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ATOWN booed when Club Atlético de Newell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Bakewell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mike Scargill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Neerdam, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 40th match minute, ATOWN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eilif Hofsø to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eilif Hofsø to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Club Atlético de Newell's goalkeeper Mike Scargill had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eilif Hofsø. Lavrits Bjørnfalk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ollie Bright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lavrits Bjørnfalk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ollie Bright in the 71st minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, ATOWN's goal looked a bit too open when Kasey Gobey came free, but Lavrits Bjørnfalk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, ATOWN's goal looked a bit too open when Seb Newman came free, but Lavrits Bjørnfalk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
