Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) After 5th play minutes Danny Ross shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Volker Riether and just under the crossbar into goal. 7 minutes into the match, Großberghofen's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Ross came free, but Volker Riether reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Danny Ross shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volker Riether saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Andy Horn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Udo Nördershäuser came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Großberghofen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Udo Nördershäuser couldn't finish the play. Volker Riether made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fitz Bayne in the 20th minute of play. Udo Nördershäuser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Martyn Patten made a huge save. If Danny Ross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Volker Riether stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danny Ross's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Eugen Prinzing's late challenge caught a Manchester United F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugen Prinzing helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Manchester United F.C. booed when Großberghofen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Prinzing didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Großberghofen's zone, Fitz Bayne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Volker Riether came out of the goal and Fitz Bayne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Großberghofen's Volker Riether played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Ross in the 37th minute of play. Großberghofen's Eugen Prinzing got his second yellow card of the match in the 44th minute. The referee ordered Eugen Prinzing off the ground. 46 minutes into the match, Danny Ross notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Großberghofen's Volker Riether. Volker Riether was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danny Ross was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Bill Black hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martyn Patten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steffen Dorsch, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute Keith Featherstone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volker Riether saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Volker Riether showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Ross in the 54th minute of the match. After 55 played minutes Danny Ross rounded Großberghofen's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Julius Reckufer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martyn Patten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Großberghofen's Volker Riether played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Ross in the 72nd minute of play. Manchester United F.C. made a substitution. Dennis Chegwyn replaced Andy Horn. After 74 played minutes Großberghofen got a freekick which was hit by Julius Reckufer. Danny Ross could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Volker Riether made a huge save. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Volker Riether as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danny Ross in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Volker Riether prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st match minute, Großberghofen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Udo Nördershäuser to maneuver through the defense. When Danny Ross came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Manchester United F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danny Ross couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, Dennis Bibby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester United F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Großberghofen the free kick. A collision led to Manchester United F.C. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Dennis Bibby hit a great ball. When the match was over Manchester United F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Großberghofen throughout the match.
