Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Danny Ross started the match with the kick off. When Rune Gjessing came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Åsnes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rune Gjessing couldn't finish the play. In the 3rd match minute,  ☆冰谷☆Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordan Griffiths to maneuver through the defense. Martyn Patten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Gjessing, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Christer Waaler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Ross, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristian Sandersen in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Martyn Patten, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play,  ☆冰谷☆Manchester United's Fitz Bayne got a free kick in the 18th minute. Rune Gjessing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Åsnes's Morten Hestad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martyn Patten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Martyn Patten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Gjessing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Wes Kirkpatrick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 43 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Morten Hestad. Morten Hestad was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. Åsnes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andy Horn during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, one of  ☆冰谷☆Manchester United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for  ☆冰谷☆Manchester United.  ☆冰谷☆Manchester United:s Martyn Patten showed great skill when he stopped Kristian Sandersen:s penalty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Rune Gjessing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martyn Patten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morten Hestad, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Rune Gjessing struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Martyn Patten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åsnes.  ☆冰谷☆Manchester United's Martyn Patten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morten Hestad in the 59th minute of play. Danny Ross kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in  ☆冰谷☆Manchester United's zone, Dan Ødegaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martyn Patten came out of the goal and Dan Ødegaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dan Ødegaard fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åsnes's protests and gave Dan Ødegaard a yellow card for diving instead. Martyn Patten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Gjessing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Åsnes's Christer Waaler got control of the ball when Danny Ross tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kristian Sandersen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyn Patten having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Åsnes had won after a very even match.
