Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Torgeir Gjermundsen started the match with the kick off. The wind increased when Renatus Nützel made the kick off in the second half. Åge Undheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatus Nützel, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Wolfram Tennenbaum showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The supporters of AEK FC booed when Großberghofen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reiner Despang didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgeir Gjermundsen in the 95th minute of play forced Großberghofen's goalkeeper Volker Riether to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Herbert kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match Birger Dalheim sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Volker Riether skillfully saved the ball. The Großberghofen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Großberghofen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
